Hi, my name is

Ryan Daich.

A cybersecurity enthusiast and computer science student specializing in identity & access management, threat detection, and incident response. Currently, I'm focused on building secure IT infrastructures and advocating for better cybersecurity practices at Manhattanville University.

About Me

Hello! I'm Ryan, a passionate cybersecurity enthusiast currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with minors in Data Science and Communication Studies at Manhattanville University. My journey in the tech world began with a deep curiosity about how systems work and how to protect them from threats.

As the founder and president of the Manhattanville University Cybersecurity Club, I've had the opportunity to organize workshops, lead phishing awareness campaigns, and collaborate with industry professionals to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical applications.

My professional experience includes roles as a Cybersecurity Analyst and IT Team Lead at MetroPlus Health Plan, where I've gained valuable hands-on experience in configuring encryption systems, managing user accounts, and responding to security incidents.

Beyond technical skills, I'm deeply committed to mentoring others, as evidenced by my volunteer work with the Valiant Mentoring Program. I believe in using technology as a force for positive change.

Here are a few technologies I've been working with recently:

  • Python
  • Active Directory
  • Kali Linux
  • Microsoft Defender XDR
  • Java
  • Wireshark
